Louise Chartrand, born in Montreal on April 13, 1942 , is an Art Painter from Quebec.

  Since her earliest childhood she has exhibited a great talent in drawing and displayed a passion for the Arts. Self-taught, she has experimented with many techniques such as ink, water colour, pastel and oil painting.

  As the years passed, she was able to take advantage of her experience and go on to discover her own personal calling. It was in the early 1990's that Louise Chartrand discovered a path called "Visionary".

  All of her painting reveal a great tenderness and create an alliance with dream or reality, mystery or the beauty of the soul. The spiritual and philosophical essence that emanates from her work bring forth the universal message of love that the artist wants to convey.

  She sometimes takes her inspiration from Greek, Roman, Indian and Egyptian mythology while personifying in her own way the Goddesses and their messages. For more than 20 years she has taught drawing and painting. She also has a great many art exhibits to her credit.

  She is renowned for her art work in Canada as well as abroad. Her paintings are reproduced on giclées and greeting cards.
